Position Summary:


The Visual Sales Campaign Manager will work directly with other Campaign Managers, the Senior Visual Merchandising Director and the Visual Sales Presentation Team on specific campaign needs relative to campaign presentation and merchandising.  The Visual Sales Campaign Manager will collaborate with the Creative team and our Sign Shop and Prop Shop ensuring all graphics, signs and props to support the overall campaign marketing objective in-store. 

The Visual Sales Campaign Manager will direct the merchandising efforts for campaigns and special events including headers, Front Feature Area and mass outs, and store specific areas including windows, niches, ledges and other opportunities, through various avenues of written and verbal direction.  The merchandising of our annual Gift Wrap Wonderland and elfa Campaigns will fall under the Visual Sales Presentation area in partnership with the Visual Sales Merchandising Team.  The Visual Sales Campaign Manager exhibits enthusiasm for visual presentation, a keen eye for detail, strong verbal and written communication skills and is flexible to changing needs.  This individual will be knowledgeable of and stay current with all store layouts and nuances to ensure the best presentation for each.  This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior Visual Merchandising Director to direct merchandising of headers, Front Feature Area, mass outs and store specific displays including windows, ledges and niches and other opportunities
  • Develop concepts via sketches and mock-ups and collaborate closely with Visual Sales Presentation Team in details and final determinations
  • Interpret store specific sketches into computer illustrations and written direction that can be emailed to stores
  • Partner with Visual Sales Presentation Team, other Campaign Managers and Creative to ensure consistent look in store with signs, props and graphics
  • Collaborate with Visual Sales Merchandising Team to define and execute specific elements of the campaign direction
  • Meet with new and existing vendors, and partner with Visual Sales Presentation Manager and Advertising to assess new approaches, materials, etc. to meet our presentation goals
  • Manage all campaign and seasonal graphic installation needs for stores
  • Ensure that store window banner records are up to date with current window banner sizes, any remodel information and all new store information
  • Keep all campaign files and information within MMS Campaign Manager Module current
  • Assist with requests to Advertising for creative artwork
  • Passion for knowledge – researching and sharing of new ideas, materials, graphics, and merchandising techniques and ideasUnderstand and support last minute changes
  • Keep current on all product information and merchandising memos/directives and marketing plans as well as all store layouts and store specific needs
  • Request quotes and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
  • Consistently arrive promptly to work the assigned schedule
  • Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
  • Perform all other assigned duties
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • 5 years+ retail, visual, display or design experience preferred
  • Understanding of/ability to learn software programs including Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, ACDSee and Internal Merchandise Management System Modules
  • Project Management skills

  • Willingness to travel to supervise installations and for other store training/support needs. Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on business needs or to complete responsibilities of the job
