The I/S Infrastructure Architect is responsible for strategy, architecture, implementation and support of Microsoft System Center products, specifically of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This position requires a strong background in enterprise information systems and deep technical and architectural experience in the deployment and operation of SCCM in retail environments. The I/S Infrastructure Architect will be the primary architect, implementer and operator of SCCM working closely with the I/S Platforms teams to create and deploy packages, inventory systems, build images and provide operational reports regarding current state and inventory. Additional duties include Active Directory, Exchange, Windows and anti-x administration. This position also plays a significant role in designing and implementing enterprise social networking within The Container Store. This is a salaried, non-exempt position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and extend the enterprise SCCM environment
Maintain and improve client health via SCCM
Build, manage and ensure integrity of deployment packages
Administer Active Directory
Manage tape rotation and NetBackup
Anti-x (virus, malware, spyware, filtering) configuration, management, and reporting
Provide reporting support for IT controls audits
Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
Consistently arrive promptly to work the assigned schedule
Perform all other assigned duties
Experience in the following:
System Center Configuration Manager administration, package creation, deployment, patching and reporting
Active Directory administration
Windows server administration
Microsoft Office and Office365
Enterprise social network design and implementation
IT audit experience
Ability to bring new ideas for hardware, software and technology innovations to help improve overall efficiency
Exhibits architect-level troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with a ‘can do!’ attitude
Defines product strategy and roadmap
Significant experience in a wide range of Microsoft products and Active Directory administration.
Prior specific experience with SCCM, Sharepoint, Lync, Exchange and Office 365 a significant plus.
Experience with enterprise social networking.
Works cooperatively with others and as a team member.
Strong, clear communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
Experience managing others including career development, directing and evaluating work – attention to detail is critical
Committed to working scheduled hours and have the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs (including nights and weekends).
Must be able to self-manage with minimal supervision and low re-work.
